FAQ
Do you offer online appointments for planning?
Absolutely, we can do online appointments, as your DJ I can easily meet with you on Zoom, or by phone to give expert guidance and planning. So no matter where you are in the state or country for that matter, we can make planning convenient for you!
Do you have Insurance?
Yes, Lights Out Entertainment carries a 2MM dollar policy. This is to protect you and your guests, as well as me.
Pro Tip: some venues in Indiana will not let your vendors step foot onto their property with out it. So ask your venue if they need a COI and additional listed. (I am happy to have my agent get them the documents they need)
Do you rely on wifi and streaming services?
For DJ services no. I do not need access to wifi. In fact other than looking at your online play lists, I do not use streaming services at all.
I have a physical copy of any and all songs you request, if I don't I will purchase the song before your event. Your wedding day is too important to us to leave those special moments to chance of if the WiFi is working.
Do you curate music to our tastes and "read the room"?
Yes, I listen closely & work with you to understand your unique DNA when it comes to the vibes you want me to create.
By keeping a close eye on the dance floor I DJ and mix the next song in real time. Ensuring keeping the energy high, and the transitions on point.
Do you wear polos or tee shirts and jeans to DJ our wedding in?
No, I dress to impress. It is important to fit in with the spirit of your wedding, without outshining the couple.
If you are also wanting to know, I don't show up in tacky sequined vests either.
What are your rates?
My DJ services start at 5,000 for full wedding production (all the options) and down to 3,000 for the core necessities.
What happens if your DJ equipment breaks or malfunctions?
With Lights Out Entertainment you are in luck. I have back up equipment on site in my van, not in my warehouse two towns over.
In the unlikely event my tour grade audio gear was to have an issue, I would be easily able to swap something out quickly in minutes rather than hours.
