Wedding Venues We Trust
A curated list of Indiana’s finest event spaces, vetted by the Lights Out Entertainment team.
Indianapolis (Downtown & Metro)
As Indianapolis DJs, we love these venues for their stunning architecture and ability to host serious parties.
The Alexander: Smack in the heart of downtown. We love the acoustics in the ballroom, and the rooftop terrace offers killer city views for cocktail hour.
Biltwell Event Center: A favorite for industrial-chic vibes. The exposed brick and gleaming hardwoods look amazing with our uplighting packages. Spacious enough for 600 guests.
Community Life Center: Tucked away but unforgettable. The grand chandeliers and marble floors create a natural reverb that makes dinner music sound rich and elegant. Fits up to 300.
Conrad Indianapolis: Pure luxury right downtown. The ballroom is acoustically treated well, meaning we can keep the dance floor loud without deafening guests at the back tables.
Crane Bay Event Center: Modern, bold, and massive. We love the industrial backdrop here—it’s a blank canvas that lets our production lighting really shine.
Heirloom at N.K. Hurst: A 19th-century gem. The original brick and wood floors give it a warm, authentic sound. Great for couples who want a historic feel with modern party energy.
Indiana Landmarks Center: A restored church with incredible acoustics. The Grand Hall (seats 550) is dramatic, while the Cook Theater is perfect for punchy, intimate sound.
Industry: A 1908 machine shop turned venue. The high ceilings and red brick are perfect for a "warehouse rave" style reception.
The Indiana Roof Ballroom: The "Big Daddy" of downtown venues. The stage is built for a show. When we DJ here, we bring the concert-level production to match the old-school glamour.
Lucas Oil Stadium: For the sports fanatics. It’s a unique acoustic challenge that we know how to handle to ensure clear speeches in a massive space.
Mavris Arts and Event Center: We love the multi-level flow here. You get the garden for ceremonies and the cool, brick-walled interior for a packed dance floor.
The Indianapolis Zoo: Unbeatable atmosphere. Whether in the Dolphin Pavilion, In the Gardens, or the River House, the backdrop is always a conversation starter.
Union Station (Grand Hall): Visually stunning with that 60-foot glass barrel ceiling. We know exactly where to place speakers here to avoid echo and keep the sound crisp.
Other Downtown Favorites: Downtown Marriott, JW Marriott, Omni Severin, The Children’s Museum, The Columbia Club, The Crowne Plaza Union Station, The Rathskeller, Radius.

We had the absolute pleasure of setting the soundtrack for Sarah and Dawson’s incredible wedding at the Ritz Charles! This couple wanted a modern, high-energy celebration that felt 100% true to who they are, and I loved partnering with them to make it happen.
Sarah made it clear early on: no awkward moments and no tired wedding tropes. They wanted a celebration that broke the mold.
